🍗 Garlic Butter Chicken Breast (Pan-Seared)

🧂 Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, for flavor + color)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken

    Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.

    If thick, slice horizontally or pound to even thickness (helps it cook evenly).

  2. Season

    Rub with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder on both sides.

  3. Heat the pan

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Cook chicken

    Add chicken and cook for about 5–7 minutes per side (depending on thickness).

    Don’t move it too much—this helps get a golden crust.

  5. Add garlic butter

    Lower heat slightly. Add butter and minced garlic.

    Spoon the melted butter over the chicken for 1–2 minutes.

  6. Check doneness

    Internal temp should reach 75°C (165°F).

    Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve

    Garnish with parsley and serve with rice, veggies, or salad.
